RADIANT JOY

My work is based on the luminous impact of colors and how it blooms through pure simple shapes on top gold, silver or copper leaves
Catching light, changing space, revealing colour hidden in the depths of ink… To translate the radiant joy of painting.

Like a dialogue between times of legend and contemporary daily life, each canvas restitutes its own luminous imprint.

My nomadic painter’s atelier between Paris and Corrèze provides inspiration between urban rythm and peaceful nature.

Throughout the year, art dealer Martine Moisan exhibits a selection of my recent works in her gallery set in the famous "Passage Vivienne". Galerie Martine Moisan, 8 passage Vivienne 75002 Paris tel:+33 (0)1 42 97 46 65 martine-moisan@wanadoo.fr

Make a wish!

Paintings that exude joy, positive energy and the warmness of light. They are made with golden leaves, minerals and shimmering pigments. A twist between the old and the new, a bridge between cultures.

Harajuku mood with my paintings

So good to get feed-back on my paintings! Some japanese people feel really at ease playing with my gilded scrolls. I made these scrolls especially for my trip to Japan, they look like "Fairy Obi" and get noticed by a few art dealers. Now, need to plan a trip in automn to confirm these first positive contacts.

Contemporary giant jewels

Gold, copper and silver leaf, pearl lacquers, oxide powders, vivid inks…my work is based on the luminous breathing of materials and shapes.

Ultra contemporary pigments, derived from research on oxides, mica and refraction of light, unveil shapes and oscillate between bright and darkness.

Catching light, changing space with fiery mother-of-pearl, revealing colour hidden in the depths of ink…

Moving canvases, appearing sometimes like icons with patina, sometimes like giant jewels
